A Sibling Mentor is a person that provides activities, guidance, and opportunities to siblings of people with disabilities other than their parents. They also hold knowledge about the disability system and can help siblings navigate or understand it.
County Boards please join us for a 1-day training in Columbus to learn about the sibling perspective and how you can engage siblings that are part of the families that you serve. You will learn about the sibling perspective, how to plan and start your group.
*The development of this training was supported by a grant from the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities.
