Connection and guidance for adult siblings navigating the evolving role of supporting a brother or sister with a disability.

Sibling Summits

Empowering Siblings. Strengthening Futures.

Ohio SIBS offers a powerful 4-hour Sibling Summit designed specifically for siblings of individuals with disabilities. Whether you are currently supporting your sibling, beginning to think about future planning, or simply looking to connect with others who understand your experience—this event is for you.

Each Sibling Summit creates space for siblings to come together, share experiences, and build the knowledge and confidence needed to navigate their unique and lifelong role.

Participants hear from regional leaders and professionals who provide updates on the disability community and systems of support. An experienced attorney also shares practical guidance on topics such as guardianship, future planning, Medicaid/Medicare, and benefits—helping siblings better understand what to expect and how to prepare.
